About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head of Engineering Department to join our team at EKC Group. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of educators, developing and implementing curriculum, and ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of educators to deliver high-quality teaching and learning
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students and employers
  • Ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning, including assessment and tracking of student progress
  • Work closely with the Head of Engineering to develop and implement departmental strategies
  • Contribute to the development of the engineering department, including planning and implementing new initiatives

About You

We are looking for a qualified teacher with a focus in vocational education, ideally with an industry background in machining workshops, engineering, or construction. You will need to have experience in assessing and tracking student progress, planning intervention, and ensuring all students develop the skills they need to succeed.
