Job Title: Clinical Lead in Adult Psychiatry

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead in Adult Psychiatry to join our team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to adults with mental health conditions. The role will involve developing and implementing clinical strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to adults with mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • MRCPsych or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of leading a team of healthcare professionals.
  • Strong clinical and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources.
