Bilfinger is seeking a Quality Engineer to enhance our existing team.

The primary focus of this position will involve conducting audits and managing project documentation, along with providing support for all quality-related aspects of project execution as necessary.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and sustain a compliant audit schedule aligned with the project quality plan.
  • Generate Lifetime Quality Records and quality documentation in accordance with project specifications.
  • Support quality assurance throughout all project phases.
  • Offer quality guidance and pertinent information to all project teams as needed.
  • Deliver quality inductions to familiarize new employees with project quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to the project quality plan and ISO 9001, along with company procedures and relevant legislative/regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate team compliance with Bilfinger BMS process and procedure documentation creation.
  • Assist in quality reporting, including tracking inspections, acceptance, and auditing, detailing NCRs raised, identified NCNs, concession requests, technical queries, and quality plan/ITP submissions and procedures.
  • Document and investigate NCRs, ensuring prompt resolution and communication of corrective actions and lessons learned.
  • Conduct supply chain audits and site visits, serving as the quality focal point.
  • Perform site inspections, collaborating with clients and project teams on inspection-related matters.
  • Maintain quality processes, updating documentation as necessary and integrating it into the CDM health and safety file.
  • Communicate with delivery teams and supply chains to ensure comprehensive understanding of quality assurance requirements.
  • Provide training, coaching, and support to the Supply Chain team.
  • Ability to establish and adhere to KPIs in a performance-oriented environment.
Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a comparable role.
  • Qualified Internal Auditor (AS9100).
  • Degree in Quality, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with Quality grading for QC Grade 1 works.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with NEC Contracts.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain necessary clearances, which may require time.
