The Role

We are seeking an experienced MEP BIM/Revit Engineer to join our rapidly growing business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering building and engineering projects or groups of projects or programmes of work to achieve the highest quality within given timescales, budgets, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage design and wider consultant teams in a collaborative manner to ensure effective completion of responsibilities.
  • Lead and manage the project team and relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support the long-term development of your function or Business Unit (BU), creating a sustainable business future.
  • Manage project budgets and highlight any risks, challenges, and mitigations.
  • Review contractor's design models, perform clash detection, and coordinate deliverables uploads.
  • Closely liaise with the Mace BIM team to ensure BIM standards and compliance.
  • Assist BIM team with COBie data drops.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a CAD technician, preferably in the building services or construction industry.
  • Highly proficient in Revit.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in producing and revising technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems and Revit models.
  • Good knowledge of statutory regulations and standards.
  • Effective technical competence, capability, knowledge & application of all MEP systems.
  • Relevant industry qualification.
  • Degree qualified (or equivalent).
  • Chartered professional.
  • Good knowledge of Office 365 suite of tools.
  • Good written skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly.
  • Good organisational skills making meeting arrangements, planning own work.
  • Ability to use initiative and to make appropriate decisions.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to utilise Revit software and associated digital tools.
