Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP BIM/Revit Engineer to join our rapidly growing business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering building and engineering projects, working closely with our clients and stakeholders to ensure the highest quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver MEP systems for building and engineering projects, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and standards.
  • Produce high-quality Revit models and output drawings, including setting up templates, model files, and multi-service coordination.
  • Review contractor's design models and identify potential clashes and issues.
  • Coordinate deliverables uploads and ensure BIM standards and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Mace BIM team to ensure seamless integration of BIM processes and standards.
  • Assist in the development of project budgets and highlight any risks, challenges, and mitigations.
  • Support the long-term development of the function or Business Unit (BU), creating a sustainable business future.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience as a CAD technician, preferably in the building services or construction industry.
  • Highly proficient in Revit and associated digital tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in producing and revising technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems and Revit models.
  • Good knowledge of statutory regulations and standards.
  • Effective technical competence, capability, knowledge & application of all MEP systems.
  • Relevant industry qualification.
  • Degree qualified (or equivalent).
  • Chartered professional.
  • Good knowledge of Office 365 suite of tools.
  • Good written skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly.
  • Good organisational skills making meeting arrangements, planning own work.
  • Ability to use initiative and to make appropriate decisions.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
