Operational Communications Delivery Manager

We are excited to present a remarkable opportunity for a qualified candidate to take on the role of Operational Communications Delivery Manager, specializing in exam services and operational messaging. This position is integral to our center operations team, collaborating with essential stakeholders throughout the organization to produce standardized operational communications, primarily focused on T Levels and Technicals, as well as other sectors.

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of our products and services, particularly the functioning of the exams office within educational institutions, as this role involves enhancing communication with exam teams and continuously refining training materials and guidance.

This position emphasizes a commitment to continuous improvement. The successful applicant will have a keen eye for identifying opportunities for enhancement and will actively seek innovative solutions to challenges. Comfort in supporting both internal and external clients, along with the ability to deliver engaging customer-facing webinars, is essential.

The role is based in our operational hub, with occasional travel required as necessary.

About the Role

This unique position reports to the Senior Operations Manager within our operational division. The successful candidate will oversee the complete operational external communications process, ensuring the effective execution and delivery of key business functions to our centers. The focus will be on enhancing exam support materials and developing training for both internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and executing communication-related projects across operational teams.
  • Designing and implementing communication strategies that align with existing product timelines.
  • Managing the delivery of essential customer-facing documents and materials, such as welcome packs and exam entry guidance, ensuring collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Centralizing daily customer communications and tracking management tools.
  • Gathering requirements, designing, and delivering training materials and support documentation to improve exam management practices.
  • Overseeing an Operational Delivery Coordinator.
About You

The ideal candidate should demonstrate a range of the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in crafting customer-facing communications and documentation.
  • Familiarity with or experience in a college or school exams office environment is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in creating clear, concise, and standardized communications.
  • Knowledge of mail-merge, DotDigital, or similar tools, along with database management.
  • Experience in delivering effective presentations and training to large groups.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Adept at simplifying complex information for customer understanding.
