We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team at MacArthur Recruitment. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for assisting project managers in developing project plans, schedules, and deliverables, while ensuring commercial decisions are made.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Project Managers: Provide support in developing project plans, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring commercial decisions are made.
- Leadership and Direction: Offer a level of leadership and direction to engineers, manufacturing teams, and support staff in delivering projects.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and opportunities, and actively resolve any issues affecting project delivery to time, cost, and quality.
- Communication: Prepare project communication materials, such as project reports, presentations, and change documentation.
- Project Monitoring: Ensure project schedules and costs are monitored and regularly reviewed, alongside the project manager, and that effective change control procedures are utilized throughout the project duration.
- Client Communication: Ensure regular and effective communication with the client's project team.
- Education: An HND in mechanical engineering or similar, and an APM PM Fundamentals qualification are desirable.
- Experience: Experience of working on projects in the nuclear industry, and possessing skills and exposure to project management, with demonstrable experience in managing and delivering multidiscipline projects within a manufacturing environment.
- Skills: An appreciation of project management planning, estimating, risk identification, management, and mitigation processes, and their application across multidisciplined teams.
- Client Contracts: Experience in ensuring the adherence to client contracts and specifications.
- Project Management: Experience in the management of packages of work or smaller projects.
- Mechanical Engineering: Experience in a mechanical engineering role or a similar technical role would be amazing, but not mandatory.
- Project Schedules: Possess the ability to interpret project schedules and monitor progress.
- Variety of Work: A variety of work and projects, and future opportunities.
- Salary: Salary: DOE pa.
- Positive Working Environment: A positive working environment with a successful company.
- Full-Time Role: A full-time role, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required.
- Benefits: Discounted gym membership, generous pension, training and development, and 35 days holiday per year (including bank holidays).
