The company also offers a number of value-added processes to help customers receive orders how they want to receive them, saving clients valuable time and energy.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will lead a continuous improvement operation/culture that meets the needs of the customer while supporting growth, improving efficiency, and minimizing risk to the business.

To ensure value for money is achieved in all operational expenditure while overseeing and maintaining all health and safety legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock Control: Ensure all SPI's are followed and identify procedural inefficiencies, develop solutions, and implement improvements.
  • Equipment: Maintain all equipment and Warehouse Assets and ensure service providers are cost-effective.
  • Production Control: Ensure the efficiency of production and the quality of the goods produced.
  • Customer Service: Identify and resolve delays to service and develop operating practices to support growth.
  • Transportation & Drivers: Ensure company compliance of all transport policies, legislation, and procedures, including Tacos and Drivers Hours.
  • Operations Managers are responsible for the compliance of the operator's license and driver training.
  • Ensure delivery routes are optimized and 3PLs managed cost-effectively.
  • Health & Safety: Operation Managers are responsible for the upkeep of procedures and ongoing training related to Health & Safety in the workplace.
  • People & Development: Responsible for all training and development of the warehouse team.

This role requires an individual with a track record and a passion for delivering operational excellence. The business needs a person who will identify and deliver change to produce enhanced business results.
