Job Summary:

The Duty Manager is a key role within the SSP Group, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage outlets. As a Duty Manager, you will be the face of our brand, providing an exceptional customer experience and leading a team of colleagues to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized service and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Lead a team of colleagues to deliver excellent customer service, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and stock control.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of customer service, quality, and safety, reporting any issues to management.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required.
