Main Responsibilities

As a Medicines Counter Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing excellent customer service to patients, hospital staff, and service users
  • Accurately receiving prescriptions and processing payments
  • Operating IT systems and supporting stock management
  • Providing advice on over-the-counter products and referring patients to the pharmacist as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • GCSE Mathematics and English qualifications
