MacTaggart Scott is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Supply Chain to lead our procurement and logistics function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a supply chain strategy that ensures optimal supplier performance and cost savings.
- Manage the procurement process, including supplier selection, tendering, and contract negotiation.
- Lead the logistics function, including inventory management, transportation, and warehousing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the supply chain team, including coaching and development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Relevant degree in business, procurement, or supply chain management.
- CIPS qualified minimum level 4.
- Full existing membership of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
- Senior management experience, including leadership of a team.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and data analysis.
