Job Description

Oxford Capital is a leading investment firm based in Oxford, UK, with a focus on supporting early-stage companies in high-growth sectors. We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a robust database for data analysis, processing, and reporting.
  • Produce high-quality reports and statements for effective client communication.
  • Act as a liaison between operations, investor relations, and investment management teams.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data for investor reporting.
  • Collaborate with investor relations on client communications.
  • Implement and refine data management systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Support teams with performance and pipeline analysis.
  • Ensure database integrity and compliance with standards.
Operations Development
  • Develop and improve the client holdings and transactions database structure and streamline reporting.
Investment Administration
  • Assist with client investment allocations and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain stock and cash reconciliations with custodians and third parties.
  • Manage EIS tax relief applications and maintain investment allocation documentation.
  • Ensure prompt and correct processing of corporate actions.
Systems Support
  • Support Investor Relations and Sales in database usage.
  • Participate in new system and process implementations.
  • Provide training and support for internal processes and databases.
  • Develop and implement business process improvements.
  • Maintain database quality control and ensure regular portal syncs.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline and/or equal relevant experience and qualifications.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong team skills.
  • Excellent database management capabilities and Power BI (or similar).
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Understanding of database discipline.
  • Good time management.
Desirable
  • Knowledge of financial services industry.
  • Accounting/bookkeeping knowledge.
  • Qualifications appropriate for the role.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software.
