About the Role

Oxford Capital is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence and Data Analyst to join their team in Oxford. As a key member of the investment team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and expansion of early-stage companies across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Management: Develop and maintain holdings and transaction databases for robust data analysis, processing, and reporting.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure timely, accurate, and structured data for investor reporting.
  • System Implementation: Participate in new system and process implementations to improve data management and analysis.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support for internal processes and databases to ensure seamless data utilization.
  • Quality Control: Maintain database quality control and ensure regular portal syncs to ensure data integrity.
  • Risk Management: Identify operational and investment management risks and contribute to their management and disclosure.
Requirements
  • Excellent Database Management Capabilities: Proficiency in database management and analysis, with experience in Power BI or similar tools.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills: Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Financial Services Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the financial services industry and its regulatory requirements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping Knowledge: Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
  • CRM Software Experience: Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software.
