About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly growing energy research and analytics company as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst. As a key member of the Commercial Intelligence team, you will play a crucial role in collecting, processing, and reporting key data to support all aspects of commercial and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Commercial Intelligence team in their mission to provide key insights and management information to the Commercial and Senior Management teams.
  • Manage the further development of a suite of self-service dashboards to drive data-driven decisions.
  • Direct and improve the reconciliation processes of other functions that consume commercial data, such as finance (FP&A), software development, and ERP.
  • Manage and develop team members, including supporting continuous skillset development and training.
  • Be responsible for the data integrity and accuracy of Commercial Intelligence data.
Requirements
  • Experience in analysing, manipulating, and visualising data.
  • An ability to understand unstructured data questions to carry out analysis and provide relevant and valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Experience with data tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and CRMs.
  • Experience in using Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with SQL/SOQL.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, or any other CRM platform.
  • Experience of VBA/Macros.
