About this role

Synchronicity Earth is a global environmental charity seeking a highly skilled Senior Grant Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing our grant-making process, ensuring the effective distribution of funds to support conservation efforts around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grant Management: Oversee the distribution and administration of grants within our programs, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of grant paperwork.
  • Grant Pipeline Management: Monitor and track grantee compliance with report submissions and key deliverables, managing the grant pipeline to ensure efficient grant giving.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Programmes and Philanthropy Teams to ensure all grants are matched with relevant income streams, providing advice and guidance to applicants and grantees on administrative procedures, policies, and practices.
  • Reporting and Data Management: Coordinate and deliver on reporting requirements to the Finance, Research, Operations, and Risk teams for all grant giving, supporting data management and process development to improve efficiency.
Requirements
  • Grant Management Experience: At least 3 years of experience in grant management, with a proven track record of managing grant pipelines and financial implications.
  • Technical Skills: Experience working with finance and database systems, such as Salesforce, NetSuite, or Fluxx.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Proven ability to work and communicate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders, with excellent attention to detail.
