About this role

Synchronicity Earth is a leading global environmental charity seeking an experienced Senior Grant Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in managing our grant-making process, ensuring the effective distribution of funds to support conservation efforts around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grant Management: Oversee the administration of grants, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of funds to our partners and grantees.
  • Grant Pipeline Management: Monitor and track grantee compliance, managing the grant pipeline to ensure efficient grant giving.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our Programme and Philanthropy Teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Grant Administration: Provide guidance and support to applicants and grantees on administrative procedures, policies, and practices.
  • Reporting and Data Management: Coordinate and deliver on reporting requirements to various teams, ensuring accurate and timely data management.
Requirements
  • Grant Management Experience: At least 3 years of experience in grant management, with a proven track record of managing grant pipelines and financial implications.
  • Technical Skills: Experience working with finance and database systems, such as Salesforce, NetSuite, or Fluxx.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Proven ability to work and communicate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.
