Synchronicity Earth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Grant Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing our grant-making process, ensuring the effective distribution of funds to support conservation efforts around the world.
Key Responsibilities- Grant Management: Oversee the distribution and administration of all grants within our programs, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of grant paperwork.
- Grant Pipeline Management: Monitor and track grantee compliance with report submissions and other key deliverables, managing the grant pipeline to ensure efficient grant giving.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Programmes Team to ensure all grants are matched with the relevant income stream, and provide advice and guidance to applicants and grantees on administrative procedures, policies, and practices.
- Database Management: Act as the internal point of contact for all grants in our database (Salesforce), coordinating and delivering on reporting requirements to various teams.
- Process Improvement: Work to develop processes and systems to improve efficiency, ensuring the effective management of grant-related tasks and responsibilities.
- Grant Management Experience: At least 3 years of experience in grant management, with a proven track record of managing grant pipelines and financial implications.
- Technical Skills: Experience of working with finance and database systems, including Salesforce, NetSuite, and Fluxx.
- Communication and Collaboration: Proven ability to work and communicate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders, with excellent attention to detail.
