Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve territory sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including home owners, builders, contractors, and merchants
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers, working closely with our technical sales team
  • Work closely with internal sales, operations, and technical offices to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Generate quotations and manage customer orders through our CRM system
  • Attend industry events and provide CPD training as required
  • Maintain regular contact with new and existing customers at multiple levels within the distribution network
  • Control pricing strategy on the territory and work closely with the National Sales Manager to develop high-level customer contacts
  • Develop and implement sales plans and initiatives with key customers
  • Prepare and present performance reports and presentations on territory performance
Requirements
  • A full driving license
  • Proven experience in a similar role or extensive field-based sales experience
  • Previous experience working within the wastewater industry (desirable)
  • Proven sales skills and excellent people management skills at a senior level
  • Excellent presentation skills to customers and senior managers
  • Strong technical bias in sector (desirable)
