Integrated Governance Director

Job Summary:

Spire Healthcare is seeking an experienced Integrated Governance Manager to lead compliance activities in conjunction with hospital departments. The ideal candidate will focus on infection control, clinical governance, clinical effectiveness, patient safety, and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead integrated governance and quality activities within the hospital, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and coordinate investigations of adverse events, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement clinical audit programs, promoting evidence-based best practices and improving patient safety.
  • Assist in the development and dissemination of patient safety-related information throughout the hospital.
  • Lead the development of methods and processes to manage clinical risk, ensuring a culture of safety and quality.
  • Engage with colleagues across the hospital to promote policy management and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and skills, as well as assist others in their professional development.
  • Monitor consultant information and coordinate reports to identify trends and support the practicing privileges review process.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in leading and developing teams, with a focus on compliance and quality.
  • Evidence of participation in audit activities and clinical governance experience.
  • Degree-level education, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • Root cause analysis training and IOSH/NEBOSH accreditation.
