At Doncaster College and University Centre, we're committed to helping students achieve their goals. As a Careers Advisor, you'll play a vital role in providing expert guidance and support to help learners make informed decisions about their future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual interviews to advise students on progression opportunities.
  • Deliver group talks and workshops on career planning and progression, and training sessions on job searching and employability skills.
  • Participate in community liaison activities, promoting college provisions and supporting local events.
  • Maintain accurate records using the college's online student records management system.
  • Ensure compliance with all college policies, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding, and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
Personal Qualities:
  • Non-judgmental, tactful, and diplomatic, with a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to use own transport if a college vehicle is not available.
