Foster Care Recruitment Specialist - Permanent Position
Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 35 hours weekly (flexible working hours including occasional evenings and weekends as necessary)
Location: Remote, serving the East Midlands and Yorkshire regions
Compensation: £24,000 - £27,000 plus company vehicle or vehicle allowance

POSITION OVERVIEW
We seek a dynamic and passionate Recruitment Specialist to support our Fostering teams in attracting and selecting dedicated and high-quality foster parents.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
To play a crucial role in the recruitment of committed foster parents, ensuring exceptional service delivery and efficient processes at all times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducting home visits to assess the suitability of prospective foster parents within the community and through online platforms, providing guidance throughout the process.
- Preparing comprehensive and detailed reports.
- Tracking the progress of prospective foster parents during the recruitment and assessment phases.
- Assisting in the organization of recruitment events and community outreach activities.
- Coordinating with central Fostering teams to ensure prospective applicants participate in necessary training sessions.
- Managing records and maintaining database accuracy.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to engage effectively with applicants both in person and online.
- Ability to gather and interpret information efficiently.
- Proficient in drafting concise reports.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the East Midlands and Yorkshire.
- Capability to meet and surpass established targets.
- Proficient in using IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience in fostering recruitment is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must possess a valid driving license.
