Foster Care Recruitment Specialist - Permanent Position

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 35 hours weekly (flexible working hours including occasional evenings and weekends as necessary)

Location: Remote, serving the East Midlands and Yorkshire regions

Compensation: £24,000 - £27,000 plus company vehicle or vehicle allowance

POSITION OVERVIEW

We seek a dynamic and passionate Recruitment Specialist to support our Fostering teams in attracting and selecting dedicated and high-quality foster parents.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

To play a crucial role in the recruitment of committed foster parents, ensuring exceptional service delivery and efficient processes at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducting home visits to assess the suitability of prospective foster parents within the community and through online platforms, providing guidance throughout the process.
  • Preparing comprehensive and detailed reports.
  • Tracking the progress of prospective foster parents during the recruitment and assessment phases.
  • Assisting in the organization of recruitment events and community outreach activities.
  • Coordinating with central Fostering teams to ensure prospective applicants participate in necessary training sessions.
  • Managing records and maintaining database accuracy.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to engage effectively with applicants both in person and online.
  • Ability to gather and interpret information efficiently.
  • Proficient in drafting concise reports.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the East Midlands and Yorkshire.
  • Capability to meet and surpass established targets.
  • Proficient in using IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience in fostering recruitment is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Must possess a valid driving license.
