Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week (flexible approach to working outside core hours including some evenings and weekends as required)

Homebased, supporting our East Midlands and Yorkshire

Salary :
£24,000 - £27,000 plus company car/car allowance

What we need

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Recruitment Specialist to assist our Fostering teams with the recruitment and selection of high-quality and dedicated foster parents.

Job Purpose
To play a vital role in the recruitment of high-quality committed foster parents; ensuring exceptional service & efficient processes are delivered consistently.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting visits to the residences of potential foster parents in the community and through online platforms, providing guidance and assessing suitability for formal evaluation.
  • Composing quality detailed reports.
  • Monitoring the progression of our prospective foster parents through the recruitment and assessment journey.
  • Facilitating the execution of recruitment events and community engagement activities.
  • Collaborating with central Fostering teams to ensure prospective applicants participate in necessary training.
  • Managing records and maintaining database accuracy.
About You
  • Excellent personal communication skills to engage with applicants both in person and online.
  • Ability to compile and interpret information effectively.
  • Confidence in writing concise reports.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across East Midlands and Yorkshire.
  • Capability to meet and exceed established targets.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience in fostering recruitment is advantageous, though not essential.
  • Possession of a valid driving licence.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a standard DBS Check, cost of which will be met by Polaris.
