About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Assistant Store Manager to join our team at McCarthy Recruitment. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Store Operations: Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase customer engagement.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive a high level of service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe store environment, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certifications: Retail management certifications, such as the Certified Retail Manager (CRM) designation, are a plus.
