As a Group Support Volunteer, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for people affected by dementia. You'll facilitate meaningful interactions, encourage participation in activities, and provide companionship during group sessions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet participants and foster a sense of belonging.
  • Engage with individuals affected by dementia, offering conversation and support.
  • Assist in setting up and tidying up the group space.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued.
