Group Support Volunteer

We are seeking a compassionate and friendly individual to join our team as a Group Support Volunteer. As a Group Support Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting and encouraging people affected by dementia to engage in activities and socialise with others in a group setting.
Your key responsibilities will include welcoming and talking to people affected by dementia to help them feel comfortable and ensuring they are offered refreshments. You will also help set up and tidy away at the end of the group.
This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a difference in their community and has an interest in activities, games, and reminiscing. You will be part of a dedicated team that provides support and information to people affected by dementia.
The group meets on the second Tuesday of each month in the afternoon at Northampton Memory Matters. If you are a friendly and approachable individual who is looking to make a positive impact, we would love to hear from you.
