Job Title: Senior Applications Specialist

Job Summary: GMP Recruitment is proud to be partnered with a leading organization that specializes in the provision of world-class bespoke monitoring and critical alarm systems and services. Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Applications Specialist to join their team in Malvern.

Job Description:

Main Responsibilities:

  • To plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer contact to achieve agreed business aims/targets.
  • To implement marketing strategy and contribute towards the continued development of the strategy in line with business and market requirements.
  • To meet with customers to assess their requirements and be familiar with the legislative and quality standard requirements for monitoring systems and equipment, such as ISO 14644.
  • To demonstrate the client's critical monitoring software and alarm system, the range of AeroTrak handheld and portable airborne particle counter range, and the BioTrak real-time viable particle counter.
  • To liaise with the Integration & Installation engineers on receipt of a system order for an effective hand-over to the team who will deliver the project.
  • To support and maintain contact with customers post-delivery of system and/or equipment to ensure their satisfaction with the product(s) and the services the company offers.
  • To identify and establish new business opportunities.
  • To work with the Commercial Team and Technical Engineers to identify potential new products.
  • Follow-up on external and internal sales leads / opportunities

Requirements:

  • Cleanroom, Pharmaceutical or semi-conductor industry experience.
  • Experience of selling systems which include software and hardware components.
  • Working knowledge of clean spaces, cleanroom design and cleanroom operation.
  • Participation in industry associations such as ISPE, PDA, PHSS
  • Degree or HND in engineering or a related discipline.
  • Driving licence Territory: UK, ROI & overseas client sites (as required).
  • Formal sales training in complex selling environments (e.g. Miller Heiman Strategic and Conceptual Selling, Challenger or similar)
