We are looking for a meticulous Billing Operations Specialist to play a crucial role in our vibrant team, concentrating on impactful initiatives related to data transformation, system migration, and the examination of intricate datasets. Key Responsibilities

Data Transformation and Migration:

  • Facilitate the transition of data from clients' legacy systems to our advanced platform.
  • Guarantee the accuracy and completeness of data throughout the transformation and migration phases.
  • Detect and address any data inconsistencies or challenges during the migration process.
  • Engage with clients to grasp their data frameworks and specifications.

SQL Reporting Management:

  • Develop, modify, and sustain SQL-driven reports to fulfill business needs.

Billing Assistance:

  • Offer second-line support for billing-related inquiries and challenges.
  • Assist clients and internal teams in resolving billing discrepancies and clarifications.
  • Formulate and implement solutions for complex billing issues.

Data Analysis:

  • Examine intricate datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and areas for enhancement.
  • Interpret and elucidate complex billing regulations to ensure precise data processing.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations derived from data analysis.

Required Experience

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a comparable role within the telecommunications sector.
  • Proven experience in managing and analyzing extensive datasets.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing SQL queries.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • Prior involvement in data transformation or migration projects.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python, Ruby, Bash).
  • Experience in developing and optimizing SQL reports.
  • Knowledge of additional data analysis tools and software.
  • Understanding of the telecommunications industry, particularly billing processes and systems.
