Application Support / Functional Software Support – Hybrid (Remote) – Bespoke Software Solutions

A leading software company, specializing in the development and supply of works management and asset management systems to local government and utility services sectors, is seeking a skilled Application Support Specialist to join its team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers, resolving issues and answering questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve software issues, and to implement new features and enhancements.
  • Assist with quality assurance testing of software before release to customers.
  • Produce high-quality product-related materials to assist customers in the effective operation of the system.
  • Ensure that all customer interactions are recorded in the corporate CRM system.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, working collaboratively with other teams as needed to achieve business objectives.
  • Perform out-of-hours work on occasion to assist with conversions, software upgrades, or routine maintenance of services.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an Application Support team, with a strong understanding of software delivery lifecycle and its dependencies.
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001 and ITIL standards, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a real-world setting.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, account managers, and development teams.
