Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager Designate to join our team at Superdrug. As a Store Manager Designate, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals to achieve sales and service targets, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of retail professionals to achieve sales and service targets
  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, stock control, and visual merchandising
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify and explore opportunities to grow sales, ensure optimum stock range and availability, while maintaining strict cost and stock control

Requirements

  • Previous retail experience with roles such as Assistant Management or similar
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and service targets
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills

About the Role

The Store Manager Designate role is a key position within our organization, and we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill this role. As a Store Manager Designate, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Store Manager to lead a team of retail professionals and achieve sales and service targets.

What is a Designate Role?

In this role, you will support us by being willing to travel to a variety of stores locally around your base location based on demand. This will provide you with exposure and day-to-day variety, and will also help support future hiring needs within the business.
