Job Title: Director of Repairs and Maintenance

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Repairs and Maintenance to join our team at Lampton Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational management to our repairs and maintenance team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality best-in-class service for all customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the repairs and maintenance team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee all responsive, planned, cyclical, and day-to-day maintenance and void repairs, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and best practice.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance service delivery, customer satisfaction, property standards, and value for money.
  • Work closely with the Executive team to drive forward improvements, ensuring KPIs are met and supporting the organisation's strategic objectives.

Requirements:

  • A relevant housing qualification and full membership of a relevant professional institution, e.g., RICS, CIoH.
  • Substantial experience in social housing residential property maintenance and management, legal compliance, and health and safety legislation.
  • Demonstrable commercial experience, expertise, and acumen.
  • Experience relevant to in-house maintenance teams and Local Authority trading companies.
  • Demonstrable experience leading a customer-first team and processes.
  • Experience of leading, motivating, and managing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver innovative solutions while maintaining continuity of services.
  • Experience of leading and motivating teams with a customer-centric approach.
  • The desire, experience, and ability to work independently and report to the Executive team.
