Director Repairs Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Repairs and Maintenance to lead our responsive repairs, maintenance, and refurbishments team. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to our customers while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the repairs and maintenance team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
  • Oversee all responsive, planned, cyclical, and day-to-day maintenance and void repairs
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance service delivery, customer satisfaction, and property standards
  • Work closely with the executive team to drive forward improvements and achieve strategic objectives
Requirements:
  • Relevant housing qualification and full membership of a relevant professional institution
  • Substantial experience in social housing residential property maintenance and management, legal compliance, and health and safety legislation
  • Demonstrable commercial experience, expertise, and acumen
  • Experience leading a customer-first team and processes
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver innovative solutions
