Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cost Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing commissions, ensuring effective cost management service delivery to meet client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commissions as a Commission Manager, ensuring end-to-end service delivery
- Ensure effective cost management service delivery to meet client objectives
- Assist with feasibility studies and procurement reports
- Estimating and cost planning utilizing relevant tools
- Tendering and procuring, managing pre-qualification stage, tender analysis, etc.
- Conduct contract administration duties
- Perform cost checks, valuations, and produce cost reports
- Contribute to value engineering
- Negotiate and agree on final accounts
- Interact with clients, Project Manager, and consultants
- Collaborate with project management team
- Utilize digital cost management tools and services
- Support NewLeaf strategy execution
- Manage internal fees, job costing, and resourcing
Requirements
- Ability to work autonomously
- Self-motivated and able to deliver under tight deadlines
- Working towards or achieved Chartered Status
- Professional and organized with strong collaboration skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
Qualifications
- Proven track record in cost management
- Degree or HNC level qualification
- Professionally qualified (RICS or similar)
