Escape Recruitment Services is currently seeking a skilled Human Resources Consultant to join a reputable organization on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Management: Oversee the recruitment process, which includes securing internal approvals, advertising positions, screening candidates, conducting interviews, extending job offers, and notifying unsuccessful applicants.
  • Onboarding Compliance: Ensure new hires meet compliance requirements by preparing contracts, conducting pre-employment checks, procuring necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), and organizing orientation sessions.
  • HR Advisory Role: Serve as the primary contact for line managers, senior leadership, and employees, providing expert HR advice and support.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievance procedures, attendance issues, and performance management discussions.
  • Policy Implementation: Communicate and enforce organizational policies and procedures across the workforce.
  • Collaboration: Work in conjunction with the Occupational Health Advisor to ensure employee well-being.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare and distribute HR correspondence and documentation, ensuring precision and compliance.
  • Data Reporting: Generate HR reports and maintain accurate records, including time and attendance data, to facilitate payroll processing.
  • Database Maintenance: Manage the HR database and maintain employee records, ensuring both electronic and manual archiving are up to date.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Outstanding communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in IT, including MS Office, HR databases, time and attendance systems, and ERP software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
