Position Summary:

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned Senior Bid Writer to join our dynamic team.

The role encompasses all aspects of the bid writing process, requiring an individual capable of producing and compiling tailored, high-quality PQQ and tender submissions that align with customer expectations and aspirations. Strong project management skills are essential.

The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional creative writing and verbal communication abilities. Experience in crafting timely submissions that effectively promote the business, particularly within the social housing and local authority sectors, is crucial. A key aspect of this role involves developing proposals that emphasize customer benefits and articulate genuine value. Familiarity with the energy or construction industries would be beneficial but is not mandatory.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee submissions, PQQs, and tenders.
  
• Manage the bid process, collaborating with sector teams to establish strategy and ensure adequate resources for submission completion.
• Coordinate resources throughout the process, ensuring all content is prepared and the final output meets quality standards, subject to approval and client engagement.
• Create high-quality PQQ and bid documents, including writing, editing, and document production.
• Lead the production of bid documents, promoting best practices in planning and organization.
• Ensure adherence to business development processes, style, and brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with bid team colleagues to coordinate bid information.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the Bid Improvement Plan.
• Commit to promoting best practices across Sureserve Group.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Outstanding creative writing skills and knowledge of their application in a bid context.
• Understanding of the construction, maintenance, and building sectors.
• Familiarity with electronic tender platforms.
• Effective communication skills at all levels.
• Strong time management and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is essential; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable.
• Capability to deliver high-quality work within established timeframes.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Disclosure check.
