Position Overview
We are pleased to announce a permanent opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse to become a vital member of our nursing staff within the Surgical Unit. This role can be filled on either a full-time or part-time basis, catering to the needs of our diverse patient population.
Our Surgical Unit is committed to providing exceptional care for adult patients undergoing various surgical interventions, including:
- General Surgery
- Gynaecological Procedures
- Minor Orthopaedic Treatments
Our nursing teams uphold the principles of the six C's, striving to deliver a superior quality of care in a secure environment that addresses the individual needs of each patient in a professional and comprehensive manner.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication abilities, effective teamwork skills, and a foundational understanding of surgical practices. We provide flexible scheduling options on a roster basis, which includes a balanced mix of day, night, and weekend shifts to accommodate patient needs while ensuring a fair working environment for our entire team.
Employment Type: Permanent
Weekly Hours: (Part-time hours may be considered)
Shift Details: Shifts may include early (7:00-15:00), late (13:00-20:00), long day (7:00-20:00), or night shifts (19:30-7:30)
Key Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include supporting the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of high-quality nursing care. Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure that patients receive the utmost level of care through a holistic, patient-centered approach, while maintaining rigorous documentation standards.
