About the Role

We are currently recruiting experienced Registered General Nurses to support NHS Trusts in the Cheshire area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assist patients with daily living activities
  • Regularly assess and monitor patient vital signs
  • Perform various types of observations and utilize monitoring systems
  • Operate and ensure the functioning of medical equipment, such as ventilators, infusion pumps, and monitors
  • Administer medication as prescribed
  • Care for patients receiving invasive and non-invasive ventilation
  • Prioritize patient care
  • Recognize patient deterioration and escalate care as necessary
  • Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, patients, and relatives
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Make appropriate referrals
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records
  • Work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
  • Apply problem-solving skills
  • Adhere to local policies and procedures
  • Prepare patients for discharge or transfer to other departments
Requirements
  • Band 5 or above
  • Current NMC registration
  • Relevant nursing qualifications
  • 6 months recent experience as a Registered General Nurse
  • Two clinical references covering 3 years of work experience
  • Valid DBS certificate
