An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust Digital Services team as an IT Service Desk Technician. This role will provide a customer-centric service, ensuring all IT service users receive an efficient and responsive service.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users, resolving incidents and service requests at the first point of contact.
- Work closely with stakeholders to provide a robust, proactive, and resilient service.
- Participate in an out-of-hours IT Service Desk on-call rota, requiring a clean driver's license and subject to check at interview stage.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Broad knowledge of IT, including operating systems and mobile devices.
- Proven experience in problem-solving and diagnostics.
- Proven IT Service Desk experience and knowledge of ITIL working practices.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge, working closely with all stakeholders to provide a high-quality service.
