We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Mercure Bristol North The Grange. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant, including staff management, event planning, and maintaining high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate a team of restaurant staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Oversee all aspects of event planning, including catering, decorations, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution and high guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve operational efficiency, while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the hotel's management team to ensure alignment with the hotel's overall business objectives and goals.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and high standards of quality.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, as well as relevant health and safety regulations.
