About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Coordinator to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to individuals struggling with substance misuse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a dedicated telephone support line, providing timely and empathetic support to service users.
  • Contact individuals who have been referred within 3 working days, initiating engagement and building trust.
  • Assess individual risk and need, utilizing tools such as AUDIT and SADQ to inform interventions.
  • Deliver a range of interventions, including Identification and Brief Advice, Extended Brief Interventions, and Harm Reduction Interventions.
  • Provide lapse and relapse prevention support, empowering individuals to maintain their recovery journey.
About You:

We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience working in a similar field. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with groups and manage challenging dynamics.

  • Have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice.
  • Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage change successfully, prioritizing the needs of service users.
  • Understand the importance of information governance processes and commit to following necessary safeguards.
