About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Recovery Worker to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals affected by substance use, providing a safe and non-judgmental environment for them to receive timely and personalized interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support to service users, including assessment, planning, and implementation of tailored interventions.
  • Collaborate with other organizations and community resources to enhance recovery options for service users.
  • Advocate for service users' involvement in their care and support, including family members and community networks.
  • Work closely with service users to facilitate social reintegration, promoting recovery, resilience, and self-determination.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with partner agencies, including GPs and pharmacists, to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in delivering interventions for individuals affected by substance use, with a strong understanding of mental health interventions and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of information governance processes and commitment to adhering to necessary safeguards.
  • Ability to navigate change effectively, prioritizing the needs of service users.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a focus on enhancing knowledge and skills to support service users.

  • A competitive salary range of £27,000 to £31,529.41, dependent on experience.
