We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Kemple View, a low secure and rehabilitation and recovery service for male patients. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will lead your multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and contribute to the development of service strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Take clinical responsibility for patients, including multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk reviews, and strategic reviews.
- Fulfill the role of Responsible Clinician to patients detained under the Mental Health Act.
- Contribute to management meetings and clinical governance meetings for the services provided at the hospital.
- Develop and maintain a therapeutic milieu that promotes patient recovery and well-being.
- Offer a psychiatric perspective to the multidisciplinary team in relation to assessment, formulation, and treatment.
