About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Coordinator to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a key member of our support network, you will play a vital role in helping individuals overcome substance misuse issues and achieve a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a dedicated telephone support line, providing timely and empathetic support to those in need.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with service users, understanding their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Assess individual risk and need, utilizing evidence-based tools such as AUDIT and SADQ to inform interventions.
  • Deliver a range of interventions, including Identification and Brief Advice, Extended Brief Interventions, and Harm Reduction Interventions, to support individuals in achieving their recovery goals.
  • Provide lapse and relapse prevention support, empowering individuals to maintain their progress and overcome challenges.
About You:

We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience working within a similar field. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with groups and individuals.

  • Have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice.
  • Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Be proactive and able to work on your own initiative, with excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
