About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Communications and Events Coordinator to join our team at AWD online. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our communication strategies and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Promotion: Assist in planning and promoting events, including inputting ideas to our annual events calendar. Prepare event materials and help ensure successful event execution.
  • Content Creation and Editing: Develop, write, and edit content for various communication channels, including newsletters, website content, and social media posts. Ensure that all content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with our messaging and branding.
  • Social Media Management: Assist in creating and executing social media strategies to increase engagement and reach. Monitor and maintain social media platforms, responding to comments and messages.
  • Internal Communications: Support internal communication efforts by creating and distributing newsletters, announcements, and other internal materials. Collaborate with company stakeholders to ensure that employees are well-informed and engaged.
  • Project Management: Assist with the creation of campaign plans, ensuring project milestones are achieved on-time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Experience in a communication and/or marketing role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to translate raw content into engaging content
  • Experience managing social channels and web content using a CMS
  • Experience in project management and campaign delivery
  • Analytical skills to report on campaign performance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication software
  • Chartered Institute of Marketing, or similar, accreditation
  • Experience of monitoring tools such as Hootsuite and Google Analytics
