About the Division:

The Centre for Music Performance (CMP) serves as a comprehensive organization that empowers students from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of musical expertise to integrate extracurricular music into their university experience. Our mission is to enhance the educational journey at Cambridge by providing a wide array of musical opportunities. Since our inception, we have focused on creating pathways for talented performers, establishing entry-level programs for newcomers to music, and bolstering the rich culture of student-led music initiatives. While we uphold the university's strong foundation in Western classical music, we are also broadening our support to encompass a diverse spectrum of musical styles.

About You:

To thrive in this role, you should possess a background in various communication fields, including event promotion, alongside exceptional visual and written communication skills. A solid understanding of music will be crucial for effectively implementing the CMP's marketing and communication strategies.

Benefits of Working at the University of Cambridge:

  • A generous annual leave policy, offering 36 days of paid leave, inclusive of public holidays.
  • Comprehensive maternity, adoption, and shared parental leave benefits, along with family-friendly options such as workplace nurseries.
  • An auto-enrollment pension plan with a substantial employer contribution.
  • Travel perks and discounts at over 2,000 local and national retailers.
  • Support for relocation and accommodation arrangements.
