Key Responsibilities:
As the Communications and Marketing Specialist, you will be instrumental in executing the communication strategies and campaigns for the organization. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Content Development: Create, write, and edit engaging content for various communication channels, ensuring alignment with the organization’s messaging and branding.
  • Social Media Strategy: Assist in the formulation and implementation of social media strategies to enhance engagement and reach.
  • Internal Communications: Support internal communication initiatives by generating and distributing newsletters and announcements.
  • Event Coordination: Aid in the planning and promotion of events, contributing ideas to the annual events calendar.
  • Performance Reporting: Conduct regular assessments of digital channel engagement and growth, compiling data to evaluate communication effectiveness.
  • Budget Oversight: Assist in managing the marketing budget to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Project Coordination: Help develop campaign plans, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project milestones.

Candidate Profile:
Essential Skills:
  • Experience in a marketing or communication role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in managing social media and web content using a CMS.
  • Analytical capabilities for campaign performance reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • Understanding of the health and life sciences sector.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent education.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Hootsuite and Google Analytics.
