Axim Collaborative Inc is a nonprofit organization dedicated to broadening access to education and deepening the impact of digital innovations and learning opportunities for underserved learners. We partner with institutions and organizations to catalyze new digital and education practices that engage students, enable them to persist, and excel in their careers.

About the Role

We are seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to work with our CEO and Education Transformation team to identify, foster, and manage strategic partnerships in support of our mission. The successful candidate will also work with the CEO to develop and implement organizational marketing and communications strategies to further our mission and our partners' work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and structure new proposed collaboratives that connect digital and practice innovation and catalytic funding for review by the Axim team and board
  • Oversee execution of projects and collaboratives, ensuring strong engagement and outcomes
  • Model the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging; foster environments that facilitate diverse and inclusive spaces and encourage diverse perspectives on teams
  • Participate in annual organizational goal setting and planning to align operations and budgets with the broader mission
  • Develop and implement organizational marketing and communications strategies to further our mission and our partners' work
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of professional experience, with demonstrated success developing partnerships in fields such as social enterprise, philanthropy, and higher education and including digital technology innovations
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with and influence external decision-makers with diverse priorities
  • Experience operating in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment as a creative thinker and problem solver
  • Exceptional project management, prioritization, and planning skills, with demonstrated success producing high-quality deliverables on time and within budget
  • Experience in both for-profit and non-profit sectors and with projects that leverage digital technology strongly preferred
