About The Marketing Meetup

The Marketing Meetup is a community-driven organization that aims to bring together marketers, organizers, and partners to share knowledge, experiences, and best practices. We're looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Community Human, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our community, partners, and organizers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Keep in touch with the community on comments across social media channels
  • Schedule and create social media content in collaboration with our co-founder
  • Seek out stories from the community to highlight and elevate them
  • Identify opportunities to improve the experience of The Marketing Meetup for our community and feed these back into the team
  • Be a point of contact for our partners, building relationships and offering prompt replies
  • Help produce monthly reports for partners, highlighting activity The Marketing Meetup has delivered
  • Support our Head of Events, El, in helping our organizer community feel connected and valued in running The Marketing Meetup IRL events

  • Engaging and ego-free communication style
  • Trustworthy and proactive, with a strong sense of self-motivation
  • Organized and tech-savvy, with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Natural written communication style that is warm and kind
  • Motivated by helping our community grow, learn, and become better
What We Offer
  • A supportive and inclusive work environment
  • A competitive salary of £26-30.5k per annum, depending on experience
  • Full-time hours, with some travel to evening events required
  • Remote work option, with a UK-based team
  • Minimum of 25 days' holiday, with uncapped leave (subject to approval)
