Job Title: Team Assistant - Pro Bono Team

AJ Chambers is working with a top City of London Law Firm to recruit a Team Assistant for their Pro Bono team. The firm is committed to giving back to society through pro bono legal advice to charities, vulnerable individuals, and social enterprises.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Team Assistant to support the Pro Bono team in driving increased engagement in pro bono across the firm's multiple fee-earning departments. The Pro Bono practice is built around four key pillars: diversity, inclusion, and social mobility; rule of law; vulnerable groups; and climate, environment, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage diaries for the team, ensuring efficient scheduling of meetings and appointments.
  • Handle administrative tasks with a high level of competency and care.
  • Organise events and training sessions, including coordination with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Act as a point of contact within the firm, dealing directly with clients and internal teams.
  • Use initiative and take responsibility for essential administrative tasks.
  • Attend team meetings, assisting with setting agendas and taking detailed notes.
  • Assist with research tasks.
  • Support departmental BD activities.
