Position Overview:
Premier Work Support is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a Logistics Support Specialist.


This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our dispatch and stock control processes. We are seeking a candidate who can start immediately, with the potential for permanent employment based on performance, punctuality, and attitude.


Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the ordering of raw materials and perform quality checks upon receipt.
- Manage stock by counting, storing, and issuing materials to production.
- Prepare finished goods for distribution by boxing, labeling, and palletizing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dispatch area, focusing on stock holding zones.


Accountabilities:
- Conduct quality checks on all raw materials (RM).
- Ensure accuracy in stock counts for both RM and finished goods (FG).
- Support the rotation of RM to maintain freshness.
- Ensure proper boxing, labeling, and safe loading of FG.
- Uphold the safety, quality, and legality of all products manufactured on-site.
- Contribute to the management of the company's Quality Management System, including HACCP.
- Foster a positive food safety culture within the organization.
- Act as a primary contact for all deliveries and collections.


Functional Responsibilities:
- Oversee food and packaging storage areas.
- Perform inspections for quality, safety, and legality of inbound RM.
- Conduct SAP stock takes and manage stock transfers during shifts.


Required Skills:
- 7.5 tonne Driving Licence (Desirable)
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths & English (Essential).
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, or Outlook (Essential).
- Basic understanding of food safety, health & safety, and chemical control regulations (Desirable).
- Experience in manual handling (Desirable).
- Previous experience in the food industry (Desirable).
- Counterbalance FLT Licence (Desirable).
- HACCP training and food safety management experience (Desirable).


Working Hours:
5 days over 7 (Sunday to Friday) - 40 hours per week
2:30 pm - 11:00 pm
