Role Overview

As a Production Supervisor at Energizer Auto, you will oversee the daily operations of the production department, managing the performance of our eight production lines. You will collaborate closely with your team to proactively lead production efforts and enhance our facilities to achieve world-class standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the health and safety of all employees within the production area.
  • Uphold compliance with the Quality Operating System and provide coaching to the team as necessary.
  • Drive the achievement of production output targets.
  • Facilitate essential production meetings, ensuring all startup and close-out verification tasks are completed.
  • Conduct daily confirmations of operational systems, addressing concerns promptly.
  • Implement Standardized Work practices, including production observations and knowledge sharing.
  • Address team member issues and assist in their resolution.
  • Compile daily product output reports.
  • Manage product scrap adjustments effectively.
  • Utilize production and scrap dashboards to identify operational gaps.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of stock discrepancies using relevant tools.
  • Oversee performance management and attendance.
  • Collaborate with planning teams to adjust production schedules as needed.
  • Optimize the running order of production plans to minimize downtime.
  • Escalate production challenges efficiently and ensure resolution.
  • Complete versatility charts and address any gaps.
  • Ensure closure of issues raised by the team and track solutions.
  • Communicate necessary changes to planners regarding resource requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the production area.
  • Lead, mentor, and support Team Leaders in achieving SQDCPME objectives through standardized work.
  • Confirm the completion and effectiveness of maintenance tasks, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and warehouse teams to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Actively develop and manage the performance of team leaders and members.
  • Create, verify, and maintain training documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as required by the position.
